SUPER LEAGUE RULES
At all times, the Super League staff reserve the right to take any decision, or make any ruling, that they believe is in the best interests of the competition(s).
ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL
By participating in any of the Super League competitions, clans and their players are agreeing to these rules and any decisions made by the League hosts.
5. SUBSTITUTIONS
5.1 Informing the League hosts
All substitutions should immediately be posted in the Super League substitutions forum thread. This enables fixtures and the web site to be updated promptly. Failure to do this could be considered adversely should the game remain unplayed and proceed to default.
5.2 Informing the opposing clan
All substitutions should also be immediately be communicated to the opposing clan. It is advised to use both the clan forum thread as well as offline messages for this, to allow information to reach the affected player as soon as possible. Failure to do this could be considered adversely should the game remain unplayed and proceed to default.
5.3 Substitution limit
There are no limits on the number of substitutions that can be made in any fixture.
5.4 Deadline for substitutions
Substitutions may be done at any time during each fixture. Clans are encouraged to make their substitutions as early as possible though, leaving as much time for the game to be played as possible. The timing of any substitutions made is considered in a defaulted game (see Rule 8.5.6).
5.5 Required approval
Substitutions are not subject to approval by anyone.
5.6 Substituted players' eligibility
A player who has been substituted is eligible to be substituted back in to play in any other game of that fixture for the same team. They cannot subsequently play for any other team during the same fixture period. A substitution is considered official from the moment it has been posted in the forum.
5.7 The making of subs
Anyone in the clan can make a substitution, and once made will be deemed as a substitution made on behalf of, and with the full agreement of, the clan. However where two teams from the same clan are playing against one another then substitutions for either team may only be made by any member of the same team.
5.8 Swapping two players
As a means to combat time zone problems, reduce the need for the making of multiple substitutions or other similar situations, clans may swap two of their players within a match if this improves chances of games getting played.
